A true pioneer, Johnston has worked on clients such as Coors Brewing Company, Xcel Energy, the Bicentennial of the United States, the Denver Water Department, numerous banks in Colorado including Wells Fargo, many hospitals and medical care devices such as Covidien, a plethora of real estate firms from developers to architects, to homebuilders and many financial services companies. Johnston also is a leader in the community having served on numerous boards of directors including the Girl Scouts, United Way, the University of Wyoming Foundation, the Two Percent Club, Spalding Hospital and the Quality Life Institute.

Jason Lindaman

Jason Lindaman Anchored with a background in broadcast media, Jason has more than 12 years of experience creating and implementing strategic marketing and public relations campaigns. Jason’s journalism career began in 1995 while he was still a student at the University of Iowa. Eventually evolving from an intern to a news staff employee at CBS 2 (KGAN-TV), he was a videographer and worked with the station’s reporter staff to cover topical and breaking news events in eastern Iowa. He left Iowa behind in 1996 when he accepted a position with WINK NEWS (WINK-TV) in Fort Myers/Naples, Fla. While at the CBS affiliate, he was an associate producer as well as an editor for daily newscasts. His career then took him to larger television markets as an assignment editor for 10NEWS (WTSP-TV) in Tampa, Fla. and 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) in Denver, Colo.

Rodney D. Bell

An Alabama native, Rodney holds a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in broadcast and film communication from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He minored in English and Creative Writing. A local poetry award winner, Rodney has placed poetry, short essays, byline articles in various publications, and recently completed a biography about the late Nicholas DeVore III, an award winning National Geographic photographer from Aspen.

Serr HerSerr is JohnstonWells’ social media specialist, where he manages social media strategies and projects.

Serr is an outgoing and energetic individual with a passion for technology and public relations. Serr graduated from the University of Colorado Denver in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in marketing. He also received a public relations certificate from the Communication school at UCD.

Serr’s interest in social media began early in his teenage life, when he discovered a social media platform known as Asian Avenue. Since those early days of social media, Serr has continued to indulge himself into his personal social media sites. In 2009, Serr had the opportunity to manage and maintain social media on a broader scale for Denver Hmong Alliance Church, where he oversaw their social media pages and websites. In 2010, he had the opportunity to manage the social media pages for an even larger organization, SALT young adults conference at Wheaton College.

Teresa Magnus

Teresa Magnus, Associate Teresa joined JohnstonWells in April 2010, bringing experience in social media strategy, writing, web and graphic design and event planning.

Prior to joining the team at JohnstonWells, Teresa coordinated public relations for One Tribe Creative, a Fort Collins-based branding and marketing firm. She has also worked as a marketing intern for Association for Student Activity Programming at Colorado State University and a web design intern for the Colorado State University College of Liberal Arts IT office.

Her primary duties include managing online strategies and assisting in media relations support for clients and aiding with business development on behalf of JohnstonWells.

Gabi Johnston An award-winning journalist, Gabi has more than 17 years experience in print journalism and strategic communications. One of JohnstonWells’ lead media trainers, Gabi has participated in media training sessions for dozens of clients in a variety of industries.

Gabi started her communications career as a staff writer covering the criminal justice beat at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, eventually moving on to cover politics, social issues and criminal justice for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver

.Gabi serves as senior public information officer for a suburban water department, where she leads internal communications, media strategy and community outreach. She also worked in various capacities for municipalities.

Bob Threlkeld

Bob Threlkeld Recognized for his expertise in crisis management, public affairs and speech writing, Threlkeld, who is now retired, spearheaded JW’s work in crisis communication and public affairs. He also directed award-winning grassroots issues campaigns for a variety of clients, including PacifiCare of Colorado and the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry.

Before beginning his career in public relations, Threlkeld was a reporter and editor for 15 years at the Denver Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post. His beats included Washington correspondent, state and local government affairs reporter and editorial page writer.
