At a time when nonprofits are struggling with overhead expenses and reduced donations, Wystone’s World Teas, a JohnstonWells client, is brewing up a program to help organizations fundraise and bring the community a little closer – one cup at a time.
Through its Benefit Brew Program, nonprofit organizations can host their patrons, donors, families and the community at the Wystone’s World Teas location free of charge – kind of like owning a café for the afternoon or evening.
In addition, the participating nonprofit receives 25 percent of the profit from all food and beverage sold during the organization’s event time. Groups also receive 2 percent back on all in-store receipts that day, as well as online purchases they generate within 12 months.
Wystone’s World Teas is inviting nonprofit organizations in Colorado to participate in the Benefit Brew Program.
“In this economy, we are all concerned about how much we can give,” said Wy Livingston, creator of Wystone’s World Teas. “So, the Benefit Brew Program is one way that Wystone’s can help nonprofits and provide others with opportunities to give back ‘with small sips and small bites’.
“Through Benefit Brew, nonprofits get to see their return quickly; and, we like to see them happy and rewarded,” added Wy. “Last year, we hosted almost 40 organizations – from cheerleading groups and high school bands to healthcare associations tackling autism and heart disease, as well as others. We want our tea to touch every ‘leaf’ in the Colorado community!”
