Los Angeles-based fashion retailer Forever 21 has selected Lerch Bates to provide elevator and escalator management services for 144 stores located throughout the United State and Puerto Rico.
Lerch Bates, an international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and materials management, has designed a custom maintenance management program for Forever 21 that includes 168 elevators and 238 escalators. The three-year contract includes the evaluation of all service contracts with elevator and escalator repair companies, managing the rebidding process for new service contracts, selecting new elevator and escalator service providers and reviewing all service invoices to ensure accuracy. Lerch Bates also will perform on-site surveys and equipment analysis, maintenance audits of the systems, compilation of statistical analysis reports, reviews of maintenance findings and development strategies for the systems.
“Lerch Bates has seen remarkable growth recently with the demand for elevator and escalator management services,” said Jeff Marsh, Lerch Bates’ vice president of business development and marketing. “Forever 21 is a rapidly expanding international brand and we are eager to begin consulting for yet another thriving global company.”
