A Google search of “sewing tips” reveals roughly 8.7 million results. Without a doubt, there are plenty of online resources for machine sewing, quilting and embroidery enthusiasts. Now it’s easier to find the best of the best at www.WeAllSew.com, an online hub developed by JohnstonWells that aggregates the “best of” blogs, Facebook pages, Twitter handles, Flickr feeds and how-to videos.

The WeAllSew program is BERNINA of America’s inaugural integrated social media effort.  One of the most innovative and helpful features of www.WeAllSew.com is “Sew to Serve,” which connects site visitors to philanthropic sewing and quilting projects and organizations, and encourages all visitors, regardless of their experience level or machine brand, to sew to serve. Mayor Hickenlooper reveals mystery Will character as Goodwill

Goodwill Industries of Denver celebrates it 90th anniversary this November. In response to the mysterious Happy Birthday Will billboards, Web site and birthday cake deliveries, the Denver community has been asking, “Who is Will?”

Mayor John Hickenlooper revealed that Will is Goodwill Industries of Denver, at a party at the Governor’s Mansion on November 12.  More than 150 community members and business leaders joined in congratulating Goodwill on 90 years of outstanding service to the Denver community.

SBIRT Colorado Promotes Brenda Kane

SBIRT Colorado recently promoted Brenda Kane to Program Coordinator.

Kane was one of the first SBIRT health educators to be hired and trained in Colorado. Through a brief substance use screening conducted at healthcare facilities in 12 SBIRT Colorado locations throughout the state, healthcare professionals are identifying people with risky use early enough to interrupt progression to more serious use and to connect patients who have substance dependence to specialized treatment.
